There is no way that the majority of Americans eat pancakes for breakfast more than anything else. No way. It has to be cereal. Eggs would be ahead of pancakes, too. For Australia, "cereal" should be accepted. I don't think people call this breakfast "cereals." I suggest that Broetchen be accepted for Germany. I would not have come up with "bun" in a million years. Bacon is part of an English breakfast, but I doubt it is the most common food for breakfast there.
