Does California have cities that experience sub-zero temperatures? Maybe not. But try to guess the coldest cities in the Golden State based on lowest average high temperature.
Wikipedia says Carmel-by-the-Sea has an average high of 65.1 degrees. Too small to count, I guess. On the other hand, Fremont isn't small, and Wikipedia lists it at 69.2. I guess its absence here could be attributed to slightly different data sets.
