If it's including international flights, virtually every U.S. - Europe flight transits Maine northeast to southwest on the regular flight path, but nobody flies to Maine.

Almost all drive. Until a few years ago, the lights were shut off late at night at the Portland International Jetport unless a plane happened to show up. There's no infrastructure here for tourists to get around without their car. Most come from this region of the country anyway.

Flying from Europe, the trajectory goes from Caribou to Brunswick, as those are Maine radio beacons used for navigation for most transatlantic flights coming into the Northeast.
