From Philly so I always wondered what the fringe areas of PNW were like. Eastern Washington, south and east oregon, most of idaho. I have such a small conception of what it'd be like to see/live there

I know eastern Oregon can be pretty racist since it was founded as a white only state. Also the eastern parts of Oregon and Washington are a lot drier than the traditional PNW stereotype of constant rain. It's also one of the most liberal areas of the country when in Seattle or Portland.
