This isn't the Catholic Apostle's Creed at all!

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of Heaven and Earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into Hell. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. Thanks for being concerned, but my only typo was that there should be an "on" before "The third day he arose again from the dead" which I have now fixed. The page you referenced is from the Vatican, but in the United States, we say the USCCB's (United States Catholic Conference of Bishops) version*, even if it differs from the Vatican's. For instance, did you know the US uses the NABRE bible and Canada uses the NRSV bible**. So as you can see, there are multiple correct versions, if you don't live in the US you may be used to a different version than the one I have posted.

Pontius is spelt wrongly. And it is "He ROSE again from the dead".

I agree with CaritasinVeritae, to whom you have not responded. I had to do this quiz untimed, because I kept putting the correct spelling of Pontius Pilate in, and the word 'rose' for 'arose' (although they mean the same thing).

P.S. I live in Australia, where the U.S. version is not used. Since we all belong to the universal (i.e. 'Catholic') Church, the official Vatican version should be used.
