Very nice quiz! I think it should accept "Crawdad" not "Crawdads," since the hint is singular. Some folks in Michigan call a garage sale a "rummage sale," and call a water fountain a "drinking fountain." Folks in Vermont call tennis shoes "runners." Everyone seems to call a pill bug something different. I prefer "woodlouse," but that wasn't on the list. Perhaps it isn't that common colloquially, but I believe it is a more official name for the creature.
