On the coast of the Meditteranean, an ancient jewel with many gods and islands

I lie in the north, where the cold wind blows. I am separated from the crowd, and my name is slightly misleading.

Once the greatest empire, and now still a great nation. I am the foundation of many creations

Do not call me Scandinavian as that is very false. However Nordic I am, I am my own.

A long history I have fought through, with great and bad points. Perhaps you could remember me as the bad one in World War Two?

Lodged between warm and cold, I always stay neutral. No coast, no shoreline, just small towns and large mountains

I am a new one, only have existed for few decades. With a cold capital and an area I dispute with my father. In the east I am and never in the west.

I am mostly somewhere else, most likely not in Europe. But my bridge connects the two distincting continents. Remember me as I hate Greece and Russia, but I am strong and never weak.

Once again, I was a very big empire. Spanding to the reaches of even the Americas! Both Mediterranean and Atlantic I see, with my brother on the left with very similar culture to me.

I am the smallest in the world, with only few hundred inhabitants. But you will often see me bustling with liveliness. People far and wide come to see my huge buildings. A rich history, and a rich place.

A haven of yogurt that we call sourmilk. A nice green landscape I have, lodged in the Balkans

I was split in the horrible war to two drastic nations. My capital was ravaged but now I'm full of power

My capital city once doused in blood is now beautiful and powerful in my eyes. Yugoslavia was messy and brutal, but with just a sliver of coast, I can make it out alive.

A dragon is my symbol and my flag is quite distinct. Full of mountains my nation is, however busy my two big neighbours are.

My bloody past in the 1940s shaped me. Invaded by a northern enemy that occupied us in place of the European invaders. Now my islands are flourishing, but I still do not know if I lie Asia or Oceania
