To be honest, I finished this quiz on the 30th of December, but I know I won't be able and won't have time to create many quizzes like this one in 2022, so I waited today to publish, to have at least one "good" English quiz published this year. 😅
I'm a huge fan of Scrabble, probably the board game I play the most Ticket to Ride, so I had to create this quiz. I'm glad to read you like it too.
About the visual, to be honest, that's not exactly what I wanted at the begining, but I did my best with my poor SVG skills.
I really like what you wrote, because creating this quiz, I didn't want to create another quiz where China or the USA would be one of the top answers. It's funny and satisfacting you noticed it.
@Dimby I’ve the data for each country. I could publish a blog with them in a few days, maybe. But before that, just ask if you want to know the top countries, or a specific value.
And congrats for your amazing scores!
I chose 2:30 to keep a difficult challenge, but if you look at the stats, you can notice that some users (well, only a few of the takers), got excellent results (over 2000), so I think that's great as it.
Plus, I project to write a blog to learn the best combinaisons to earn as much points as possible for this quiz in a near future, so I think the 2 minutes and 30 seconds will after become more understandable, and the quiz easier.
It was a bit difficult to understand on the start, but it’s an amazing idea! Nominated!
And for the SVG tips, you know, a file like this one is kinda easy to create. You would do better in asking overtired, JWatson, Elboy or many others. 😅
Byt 1484 is excellent (better than my own score... I'm not a fastyper at all). Congrats!
And yeah, @MisterBrick is right: DR works. And actually very well: that’s the second best thing that you can type, after DRC. DR has an average of 14 points by letter typed, that’s huge.
I would have said to consult the blog link in caveat, but it seems that, by becoming feature, my quiz lost this link, so you can find all these stats and information in the blog entitled ´´How to Win at Playing Scrabble by Guessing Countries?’’.
