oh man, I loved all of these games when I was younger. But Mega Man 2 was obviously my favorite. I breezed through all of those bosses in seconds, got 5 from MM3 and 3 from MM1, but only managed to remember 2 bosses total from the last 3 games. I probably played through Mega Man 2 over 100 times.

Finally got a perfect score! Mega Man 5 is the hardest for me to remember. That and 6. I played so much of the first four games that I will always remember those.

Great quiz, and fun to revisit these titles. Agreed with kalbahamut. Megaman 2 is a borderline perfect game with regards to the capabilities of the NES. It's no surprise the majority of fan games and even licensed Megaman sequels borrowed the sensibilities of Megaman 2.

I think 3 and 4 are my favorites. The first game was very rough, and 2 is obviously a massive improvement. 3 and 4 pretty much just polish that setup with a few additions like Rush, the slide move, and the charge shot. 5 and 6 are great games too, but by then the series was starting to feel a bit repetitive and a few of the bosses weren't as cool or intuitive.

To each their own. MM 1, 2, and 3 are certainly harder than 4, 5, and 6 though.
