Wales is an entity within one country that rules itself, the United Kingdom. If we were to count Wales, we'd also have to count Scotland, Northern Ireland, Greenland, etc. as states as well. What matters here and in most situation is soverignty. If they do not rule themselves, then by all means, they can the title of country all they want. But in reality, it's much closer to the idea of a province or state. The States of the US or Mexico are considered different entities that have a large amount of authority over themselves. but ultimately, they are not sovereign, and are all 'ruled'(technically not the correct term, as both examples are forms of democracies/republics) by the main entity, the soverign capitol. In the case of Wales, the UK is the only name that matters in this quiz.

Southern Africa was a gold mine - not only did I get Botswana, Zimbabwe and Swaziland, but Swaziland led me to Sweden and Switzerland.
