Hey great Quiz.

Two points though:

Question 8: The Union of South Africa was created 31st of May 1910?

and Question 15 sounds like you mean total deaths from earthquakes+Tsunami for the entire decade.

Anyways. :)

Fair points. I could try to make them a little clearer.

For Question 15, it is about total fatalities of the decade. Aside from the major earthquake in Avezzano, there weren't any significant tsunamis or earthquakes that killed more than a few thousand. I'd reckon it's VERY unlikely that there were even 100,000 deaths, let alone 200,000.

For #8, I suppose I need to rework the question, so that it doesn't feel like a trick question. The full sovereignty of SA wasn't until the Statute of Westminster, right?

Anyway, I'll give it some thought. Thanks for the feedback!

A great quiz, but for the Olympics question, isn't 2020 part of the 2010s since there is no year 0?

2020 is technically part of the 202nd decade because of that, but that's different from the "2010s". Similarly, the year 1900 is technically part of the 19th century, but it is also part of the 1900s.

In general use the 19th century does go from 01-01-1800 to 31-12-1899 though. The "there is no year 0" doesn't impact how pretty much everyone uses the term.

No, the 202nd decade would run from 2011-2020. The 2010's merely refers to all years that start with 201_. The "zeroes" would likely just run from 1 CE to 9 CE, I guess.
