Mergeography #2

Type out the strange word that is formed by merging the Before Answer and the After Answer. E.g. "Country north of Nigeria" and "Europe's largest economy" would give Nigermany. If you want to fill in just “Niger”, write Niger x. Type just the merged answers to save time.
All the answers will feature at least three shared letters.
The merged answer automatically fills in all associated answers.
Important: to fill in just one part of an answer, add an X after it!

Nice, but the x system threw me off... could you use a yellow box instead?

The x-system is to reduce the amount of repeated typing people have to do. A yellow box wouldn't really help anything since I could just get rid of the x-system. This encourages people to put in the entire mergeographic answer, which is what I wanted to begin with.

That's what he's saying. To get rid of the x system and remove the x system. But then the merged answer wouldn't count for both. The current system is best.

I just realised that the title is a merge of merge and geography

It is a merged title. :)

I think it could help to add more time. It felt a bit short, but not unreasonable. "This country is named for the regions ..." is missing a space before the hyphen.
