Many prestigious book publishers have been globally recognized. Regarding the field of history, can you name some of them?
Hint: these are book publishers, not journal publishers. Most are university publishers.

You say that shaded rows indicate "an academic publisher" but what they really indicate is a non-university press.

You say that Springer is not on the list, but you don't say why. There is no way that fewer than 170 scientific papers cited Springer books during 2007-2011. There are, in fact, *individual* volumes from Springer that were cited more than 170 times during this period. (E.g., Measure Theory by Bogachev. Source: MathSciNet.)

Oh yes. Not surprisingly Springer and Academic Press don't appear in the list.
