I wondered that too, I checked and Guam's record low is about a degree higher than Jakarta's, and there's some other Pacific islands that are higher, but Jakarta is pretty close! Even Manaus, Brazil, deep in the Amazon, has a record low of 12°C (54°F) ! (If you really want to be nitpicky, the record probably goes to some volcano somewhere, but I know what the Quizmaster does to nitpickers.)
My bad, I should've specified that the temperature data comes from Wikipedia, but the population data is from the Jetpunk quiz about the world's largest cities, I'll fix that!
I wonder if Jakarta has the HIGHEST record low of anywhere on Earth?
