Name the countries that lie entirely within another country's extreme points, i.e. the enclosed country's N/E/S/W extreme points are all within the enclosing country's extreme points
For example, on a flat world map, draw a rectangle around a country touching the 4 extreme points, what other countries will be entirely inside this rectangle?
Extreme points exclude overseas territories, disputed area and uninhabited outlying islands, e.g. Hawaii, Galapagos & Canary Islands are counted, French Guiana, Greenland & Western Sahara are not
Made me think and visualize. I needed three tries. The first to simply understand -- didn't have to be bordering countries, all four directions had to be applied, some spaces could be left blanks, etc. The second time I just missed a few that made look at a world map. A few hours later I came back and got it.
OK, for example, on a flat world map you draw a rectangle around China's extreme points. Other countries such as Mongolia, N/S Korea etc will be entirely inside this rectangle.
