Cleveland is spelled wrong, and The Cleveland Show should be the answer for the Family Guy spinoff show. American Dad isn't a spinoff, it is simply another show created by Mcfarlane.

The origin question is pretty vague. Because it followed questions about Brian and his novel I thought the answer was the puppy farm that he came from. Could you be more specific?
