Mandarin is not an ethnic group. It's the language of the Han people

And even if it was to be changed to Han it'd be wrong. Tibet and Xinjiang have less Han people per capita

Nice quiz. By the way, I'm a Han Chinese from Nanning.

The Name of Guangxi and Guangdong come from Emperor Wu of Han. During his reign, the Han Dynasty conquered today's Guangxi and Guangdong. He built a town around today's Wuzhou, and he wrote in his edict, "Guangxi and Guangdong are just recently conquered. I should spread my mercy and prestige wide (初開粵地宜【廣】布恩【信】)" , naming this town Guangxin (廣信). The area to the west of Guangxin was therefore named Guangxi and to the east was named Guangdong.
