Great quiz, but just out of curiosity why is "wormtongue" not accepted for the question about Saruman's servant?

Sauron was not defeated in the Battle of Dagorlad. Dagorlad was the largest battle of the Last Alliance, where they defeated most of the forces of Sauron. Sauron retreated to Barad-Dur, which the Last Alliance besieged for 7 years. Finally, Sauron and his forces sallied out against overwhelming odds, and not surprisingly, Sauron was defeated by Elendil, who died in the process and consequently, the ring was cut from his finger by Isildur, Elendil's son.

In the years since I made this quiz I have brushed up on my Middle-Earth knowledge and am willing to concede that the Battle of Dagorlad and the Siege of Barad-Dur are two different things, and that the Ring was cut off during the latter. Good catch.

This was a fun one! Couple things, though: including the name "Fangorn" in the Treebeard clue directly following the "Fangorn" answer seems like a pretty big give-away, and along with JWatson24, I'm wondering why "Wormtongue" isn't accepted as a type-in for "Grima Wormtongue." But on the whole, great quiz, imo.
