Not sure how this works: The Netherlands has a population of 17 million, Belgium has a population of 11 milion. They border each other, how can The Netherlands be an answer? Same for Sweden vs Finland (11m-5m), Pakistan vs Afghanistan (200m-33m), Egypt vs any of their neighbours, Czechia vs Slovakia (10m - 6m).

Nothing to do with population: Sweden borders 2 countries. Sweden's neighbours (Norway and Finland) border more than 2. Hope that clears it up!

If overseas are counted, I think that Cyprus should be added as well because of Akrotiri and Dhekelia.
