Tough quiz! MB and TH definitely are ones I need to know better.

I got MB pretty quick because of how rare it is to have those two letters at the start of a word. But for TH I thought "Wow, is there really only one capital that starts with TH?" and then couldn't think of one.

I thought the MB clue was easy, since it's such as unusual combination in English. I missed ones that "should have" been easy - Ottawa and Minsk!

I got Ottawa before I even looked at the quiz questions, thanks to the picture being of the parliament buildings.

You can count on two points with a Jetpunk geo quiz. One is that if the answers are countries, one of the countries will be Kyrgyzstan. And pretend that the capital of Israel is Jerusalem, not Tel Aviv.

It is Jerusalem because the country in question says it is. Otherwise the capital of China would still be Peking...

Peking and Beijing are the one and same city, just like Ivory Coast and Cote d'ivoire. Jerusalem is not Tel Aviv.

According to all Atlases, almanacs, and to Israel.....Jerusalem is the capital city and has been that way for many years. Until the recent flap with the moving of embassies, I had NEVER heard Tel Aviv called the capital city.

Tough quiz! Amazing how difficult they become reduced to just two letters!

To qu! Am ho di th be re to ju tw le!

see, it works for non capitals aswell ;) It would be amazing if everything was equally understandable with just 2 letters, because, why would we need the rest then :)

I guess with 2 letters you really cant afford any spelling errors. If you type beautitul instead of beautiful, everyone will still get you, but if you'd type "we" instead of "be" things will get confusing quite fast..

A challenge, but a fun one. An unusual idea, that made it a bit different. Thanks.

Jayawardenapura Kotte for Sri Lanka would also count in the JA option but it did not allow me to put that as a correct answer.
