Don't feel bad - they're challenging with that many letters staring you in the face!

Usually I look at the answers at the end. I learn at least 10 new pieces of information, whether about general knowledge or about my not being able to answer simple ones! :)

Hadn't heard of atelier before. Out of curiosity, how about reposting this in a year, leaving out the long word clue off and see how many can scramble teleportation together? (Or do it now say for a week and see how the numbers shift?!)

I can already predict confidently that the number of people who solve it would drop enormously. :) I added clues yesterday to the three preceding quizzes in this 13-letter series to make them a bit more fun and do-able. Take a look at the stats for Quiz 1 and Quiz 3 in particular - the 13 letter words have been guessed by 4% and 8% respectively. Quiz 2 fared better, I think because the V and Q stand out in the jumble and help trigger the word. I quite like the idea of one of the answers triggering the clue for the 13 letter word, so I'll stick with it and see how people like it for the meantime. I'm vaguely considering adding a similar triggered clue for all the basic generator puzzles, but I might not bother.
