The answers in this quiz all contain a hidden number represented in Roman Numerals. Given a brief definition and a corresponding Arabic number, can you identify them all?
Firstly, and most importantly: I love the quiz! And the idea! Very clever. And hence: nominated.
Secondly: I'm not -- *ahem* -- wild about the "Native fauna" clue. Wildlife does not have to be native, nor does it necessarily refer specifically to fauna. An introduced species (whether plant, animal, or otherwise), for example, is still absolutely wildlife.
Can I make a suggestion for going with (something along the lines of) "Non-domesticated creatures"? If that's too unwieldy, no worries; I understand. Just trying to refine the clue a bit, because I was definitely thinking more along the lines of "indigenous" or "endemic" based on the existing clue.
I agree with mrputter's wildlife point, and also don't understand why handcuff has "as a criminal", it makes it sound like the criminal is the one doing the restraining. Maybe just "To restrain a criminal" is better?
Thanks!
