Interview of a JetPunker #2 - GeoPhilia

Welcome in this second interview!

Today, I will ask questions to GeoPhilia! I hope you will like!

baptistegorce: Hello Geo! Are you ready?

GeoPhilia: Hi Poirot! Yes!

baptistegorce: So let’s start this interview! To begin, could you present yourself on JetPunk for our readers who don’t know you and your quizzes?

GeoPhilia: I am GeoPhilia (you would have read that in title). I do make some quizzes nowadays, you might have seen any of my quiz in Recent Quizzes and thought that he is just another random guy . Most of my quizzes are Geographic centered, maybe you will like them... maybe

baptistegorce: Save the humanity by guessing countries is a huge success. Are there differences in your JetPunk experience before and after this quiz? When was it better?

GeoPhilia: There is no difference in my experience. It is just same as it was before. But yeah, if QM decides to give me 100s of feature, then my experience would definitely change , but it would never happen

baptistegorce: Where do you find inspiration for this very creative and interesting concept?

GeoPhilia: If you are talking about Save Humanity, BlRDSARENTREAL was the one who gave me this idea. We had several talks in Reddit DMs and he was very happy for it.

baptistegorce: Will you create quizzes about other regions in the world using this concept?

GeoPhilia: Most probably no. The reason I choosed only Europe, and no other continent was because in Europe, population is divided evenly, compared to other continents.
For North America, only US, Canada and Mexico will give you a high score, so is for Oceania with Australia, PNG and NZ. It destroys the purpose of this series.
But yeah, if any of you reading this wanna make something similar for your country, you can surely make it. Recently Tottenham63's Save France was featured. It was in french. Make sure that the quiz has atleast 40 unique answers. So, instead of doing first level subdivision, you can do second level subdivision, like departments in case of France, and maybe make them in the language of your country, like German for Save Germany. If you need any help in making such quiz, just comment under one of my quiz and I will try to do my best to help you.

baptistegorce: Do you have big projects of quizzes in preparation?

GeoPhilia: Big project? No. But yeah, there are several quizzes which I have plans for. But none of them is a Big Project.

baptistegorce: What is the most important event in your own life of JetPunker?

GeoPhilia: I would say when I got my first feature. Usually nominated quizzes are featured on Monday before I go to bed (cuz timezones). But the day Save Humanity was going to get featured, it didn't got before before I went for sleep. And because of that I was unable to get sleep as I was worried if QM will feature it or not .

baptistegorce: If you had to choose just three JetPunker for their quizzes, who will it be?

GeoPhilia: Interesting question. First for sure I would say Scambigol. His quizzes are awesome. He always has something out of the box, but some of them go above my head
Jiaozira is also in my list here. His quizzes always amaze me!
For third, I would choose Quizzer. He always bring unique concepts and fun quizzes.
One thing which I will not forget here is SWATkun's Rapid Transit stations by Map. They are very beautiful. I rarely score even 10 in them, but the SVGs are amazing.

baptistegorce: And for their blogs?

GeoPhilia: We all know who will be first, drum roll please, it's Malkiboy. I don't think I even need to explain this, as we all know. Dodoma's blogs are good as well!

baptistegorce: What are your passions in life, except JetPunk?

GeoPhilia: I don't know currently. But I would surely like something related to Geography, although it sounds weird

baptistegorce: What do you think about the SVG update?

GeoPhilia: SVG update was amazing! It bought several amazing features. But the one which I liked the most is surely Dot Placre 2.0. The new selector for map quiz is great as well! Thanks a lot Quizmaster and Stewart.

baptistegorce: What do you think about the JetPunk development in the next months? What do you hope?

GeoPhilia: First thing which admins would like to do now is maybe making JetPunk more secure, as I don't think QM would like to risk the security of site after what happened today. Other than that, I think JetPunk is perfect, but more features can make it perfecter .
