Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers is a famous rock band that was created in 1982 in Los Angeles,California and have been making music since then. The current line up is Anthony Kiedis on vocals, Flea on bass,Chad Smith on drums,and John Frusciante on electric guitar. They currently have released 13 different albums the most recent one being Return of the Dream Canteen from October of last year. In this blog I will mainly be discussing the albums By the Way(2002),The Getaway(2016),and Californication(1999). The order of the albums is the order in which I heard them.
The Getaway
The Getaway was released on June 17th 2016 and I was 16 when it came out. The Getaway was the first album I ever bought with my own money and I would listen to the songs "The Getaway" and "Dark Necessities" on loop learning the basslines and drum beats. When I was around 17 I formed a garage band of sorts with me and a few of my friends and my at the time girlfriend. I played the drums,my girlfriend played the bass and I had a friend on vocals, a friend on electric guitar, and a friend who played the violin(very strange I know). We stopped playing as a band around the time I turned 19 but we are all still in contact and occasionally meet up and hang out. Now onto the next album.
By the Way.
By the Way was released on July 9th 2002 and I was only 2 when it came out but I bought it around the time I was 18 and loved the song " Can't Stop" and the beginning guitar riff John Frusciante plays and when I still had my garage band around me and my friend wrote a sort of parody called "Can You Stop" which basically had a guy telling his friend to stop talking and was honestly pretty funny to us. The songs "Dosed" and "Cabron" were also pretty good and Cabron is one of my favorites out of any RHCP songs. Now for the final album.
Californication.
Californication was released on June 8th 1999 and was the most recent out of their albums I bought having bought it in 2021. My favorite song on the album is "Otherside" and I listen to it whenever I exercise and in general it is in my top 10 favorite RHCP songs of all time. I find the music video for the song "Californication" honestly hilarious due to how much it looks like a rip off of the GTA series despite the fact that the first GTA came in that style came out after the Californication album. This album is genuinely a bop and you should listen to it if you have the time. Well this is a new series I will be doing but that is all for today so goodbye.
Interesting blog, by the way. I can't really say what songs made me, for that matter. I don't listen to that much music, but if I had to pinpoint a song (or group of songs), it'd probably be something like this.
This one Qy linked in the first comment? You said you weren't rickrolled by it because there was an advertisement, but the title of the video says Rickroll {HD + No Ads + Different Link}
