Introduction to US Viewer Voting
Hi! Gekko0923 here. I'm starting a new series called "U.S. States Viewer Voting." In this series, you viewers vote for a state based on the voting mode. There are several voting modes, including voting to eliminate and voting to save, among others. Depending on the voting mode, one of the states will be eliminated. The states have been divided into 5 groups of 10 based on alphabetical order. Group 2, consisting of 10 states, is up for elimination. The voting mode for this particular vote is VOTE TO ELIMINATE.
Last time...
In Episode 2 of this series, Group 2 was up for elimination. Viewers voted on which state they wanted to ELIMINATE. The state with the most votes will be eliminated now. Let's see how many votes each state received.
Vote #2 stats: A total of 10 voters cast 26 votes!
With 0 votes, Iowa and Louisiana are the first two states safe!
With only one vote cast against them, Illinois and Maryland survive elimination as well!
The following states are also safe:
Hawaii (2)
Idaho (3)
Kansas (4)
Maine (4)
Now it's down to only two states: Indiana and Kentucky. Whoever gets more votes will be the second state eliminated from this series. Let's see which of these two neighbors got the short end of the straw. I'll read the votes.
Indiana #1
Kentucky #1
Kentucky #2
Indiana #2
Indiana #3
Indiana #4
Kentucky #3
Kentucky #4
Kentucky #5
Indiana #5
And the final vote goes to...
Indiana!
This means that Kentucky survives with 5 votes, and Indiana is eliminated with 6. Farewell to the host of the Indy 500. Indiana is eliminated in 49th place.

Rank Voting
This vote will be different from the previous two. You will write a list of all the states, with first being the best and the tenth being the worst. In order for your vote to count, you need to include each state ONCE AND ONLY ONCE. In addition, this round will be a double elimination. The TWO states with the lowest average rank will be eliminated.
Here is an example:
1. Illinois (first)
2. Indiana
3. Iowa
4. Maryland
5. Maine
6. Kentucky
7. Kansas
8. Hawaii
9. Idaho
10. Louisiana (last)
Notes About Voting
1. All votes go in the comments.
2. Be careful about how you vote. If you include a state more than once or do not include all the states, your vote will not count.
3. DO NOT vote using square brackets this time. This will only apply to this particular voting mode.
4. This vote is a double elimination. The two states with the lowest average rank will be eliminated.
5. Spam, rude comments about a particular state, and anything similar will not be tolerated. Any inappropriate behavior will be deleted.
6. The comments are not reserved for voting. If you have any other comments, you may post them. Just avoid sending rude comments or spam.
7. You must vote before the deadline on Friday, February 10th, at 5:00 PM PT.
8. I, Gekko0923, hereby swear to not alter the outcome of the votes in any way. I will only eradicate spam comments or rude comments.
9. Please tell your friends about this series. If there are more voters, it will be more fun!
10. Have fun! Good luck to your state!
