Geography Snap Statistics (June 2023)

As many of you know by now, there is a leaderboard in every game mode of Geography Snap. More precisely, the 5 fastest players per day, per week and since the beginning of Geography Snap (not really, more like since 26th October 2020). Well, the player Changedaworld invented a points system according to the rank of a player in the All-Time leaderboard. Here it is :
1st place : 7 points
2nd place : 5 points
3rd place : 3 points
4th place : 2 points
5th place : 1 point

The player who's the 2nd in the most categories is... SilverDog, being second in 24 game modes.

The greatest gap between 2 consecutive players in an Easy game mode is 1,8 seconds, between Changedaworld's 3,8 seconds and Dagod's 5,6 seconds, in Capitals Easy.
The greatest gap between 2 consecutive players in a Medium game mode is 4,3 seconds, between SilverDog's 7,9 seconds and Dagod's 12,2 seconds, in Countries, Capitals & Shapes Medium.
The greatest gap between 2 consecutive players in a Hard game mode is 6,4 seconds, between Changedaworld's 12,3 seconds and Dagod's 18,7 seconds, in Countries Hard.

The World Record that has been the most improved during
June is the Countries Medium game mode, where it has been improved from 6,8 seconds to 6,0 seconds ! That's 0,8 seconds that were cut off !
Multiple non-World Record time have been improved by 0,2 seconds, which is the biggest improvement on any non-World Record time.
The
game mode where the sum of every time in the All-Time top 5 has been
the most improved is Countries Medium, where 0,8 seconds have been taken off.
If we add every time in every All-Time top 5, we get to... 2151,1 seconds, or 35 minutes and 51,1 seconds. That's 2,9 seconds that were cut off during June. And if we only take the time of the 1st in every All-Time, we get to 316,2 seconds, or 5 minutes and 16,2 seconds. That's 1,9 seconds that were cut off in June.
Since 7 World Records were broken in June, this section is back to normal.
A total of 7 World Records were broken in June, in 20 different game modes ! And the game modes where the World Record has been broken the most times are Countries Medium and Capitals Medium, with a total of 2 improvements each !
The first World Record of June was the Shapes Easy 2.5s, which was broken by SilverDog 4 hours, 8 minutes and 45 seconds after May was over.
The lowest time gap between two World Records is 9 minutes and 7 seconds, and it was on June 19th !
The biggest time gap between two World Records is 13 days, 51 minutes and 49 seconds, between June 3rd and June 16th.
The last World Record of June was the Countries Medium 6.0s, which was broken by SilverDog 11 days, 7 hours, 41 minutes and 5 seconds before July.
The time gap between the first and the last World Records of June is 18 days, 14 hours, 10 minutes and 10 seconds.
As charts were not very interesting in the past few months, I decided to get rid of them in these blogs.
In conclusion, this month has been... better ? I'm starting to run out of adjectives as the last months were truly not interesting at all. What I can tell though is that it has been a good month in the new game modes, at least if one day I get the motivation to make these blogs... ;)
