I also have an account on the quiz site "Orcspel" (I guess I'll call it that now so I don't get attacked) which I would be grateful for you to check out. :) I don't have as many quizzes on their, but I use it more than this and I think it's a very good place to also play quizzes if you haven't used it before. Personally I don't have issues with slow loading, but I used to with my old laptop. I use it more because of the wider range of quizzes that are about subjects I enjoy. I will admit that there are a fair amount of negatives with it, but I just prefer it which is all I can really say. I prefer Jetpunk for the better layout and style of quizzes and I also find it easier to use. I wasn't trying to start a big thing, I was just trying to advertise my other quizzes so I apologise for that. :/

im not trying to say that sp***le is that bad i just definetely wouldnt suggest it. also i would suggest putting more text and information on the blog and not just writing a small paragraph and a link to a quiz

tbh I had no idea that "orcspel" as most people are calling it was this controversial to mention so I apologise for that. I was just trying to get people to check out my other quizzes so I could get more opinions on them.

Cool. It's completely fine to play quizzes on the other site if you like too. That's what us(the blog community) refers to it as, because we don't say the "s-word" :) Just a quick question. How long does the other site take to load and what percent of each page have ads?

It depends on what device you're using because I couldn't use the site with my old laptop at all because it was so slow, but with the one I'm using now it works perfectly so I can't accurately answer that. Also there a few ads on every page, but they don't really affect your quiz playing apart from some that pop up sometimes and cover part of the quiz which is frustrating.

I wasn't really sure what else I could say since I was only trying to advertise my quizzes on their. I also had no idea there was a minimum amount of words you had to write for it to be accepted so I was trying to expand it by trying to be slightly comedic which clearly didn't work lmao

I personally prefer Jetpunk over Sporcle, but Sporcle does have some really cool quiz formats. However, I feel that the site is diluted by a lot of lower quality quizzes, and is slow and ad-filled. Maybe make this blog a bit longer, comparing different aspects of Jetpunk and Sporcle?

The only reason I use "orcspel" more is because it has a lot more quizzes from subjects I'm more interested in. However Jetpunk is better because it's easier to use and I prefer the layout.

Yeah, the Sporcle censorship policy is pretty restrictive. And the addition of the downvote button means anything remotely controversial gets downvoted significantly, since more people think about downvoting than upvoting.

yeah, my location was in my sporcle profile and I wrote the word 'jetpunk' in a comment (I was posting a quiz I made on JetPunk onto sporcle and wanted to clarify that I was the original creator).....and I got banned. worse than that, my account/quiz was still visible and my location was posted on my profile (I was unable to remove my location)

Orcspel is a website created by crying babies who do not accept the difference. They take everything to outrage and incompetence, and are only concerned with making money with Premium, with zero remedy quizzes. There, nobody cares about study and ethics. They just want to look amazing and better.

I will agree with it being crowded and there being ads (although they don't really affect me), but you can easily stop the spam from happening, the "overused formats" I don't get why they're a problem, the glitches for me have almost never happened and personally I haven't had any issues with censorship so I can't comment on that, but other people in this comment section have so I can see how that's a problem. I just like it because it has more quizzes that are about subjects I'm interested in and I have more progress with things on there. I like jetpunk a lot and prefer the layout and style though.

Imo Jetpunk is better but I'm not saying that Sporcle is bad; their minefield quiz format is really cool for one. But I'm not that big of a fan of the messy layout and slow page-loading. JetPunk also has better community engagement.

Sp*rcle has some good formats and quizzes but they're drowned out by the really strict censorship, the low-quality quizzes, the community (or lack thereof) and the loading times. In other words, there are some good things but a lot more bad things. Also, does anyone know WHY Sp*rcle is so aggressive?

Yeah there is a lot of aggression on sporcle. I'd probably chalk it up to the large amount of users and how the large range of opinions and personalities would make it more likely to occur.

tbh the biggest problem is the ads cover parts of the quiz and the format is just really messy. There are a thousand things crammed into one page, instead of having neat dropdown menus like jetpunk.
