This is one of a series of puzzle challenges. Do have a go at the others in the series!
In this puzzle you must move around a chess board using bishops' moves to spell out the name of a country and capital city in sequence. You must determine the starting letter.
One bishop spells out the name of a country, and the other spells out the name of its capital. Use a knight's move to switch between the two.
Consider the following mini-example and its solution:
SOLUTION: FRANCE - PARIS.
As you can see from the solution, the answer is FRANCE-PARIS, beginning with the F in the central cell and moving diagonally through the letters of FRANCE like a bishop. From the E at the end of FRANCE, a single knight's move takes you to the P of PARIS to begin the second sequence of bishop's moves on the alternate colored squares. From the S at the end of PARIS, a knight's move takes you back to the start of FRANCE. Thus, the country-capital sequence operates in a perpetual loop.
As a bishop, you may move as many squares as you wish, diagonally, in any direction.
Now for the real challenge. Find the country-capital loop contained in the following full-sized chess board. Give your solution in the comments below!
