So, recently I visited the first home page of JetPunk, which took around 40 minutes to go to the first home page.
Here are the things I've found.
I saw that there were actually 10 quizzes on the one home page!
The quizzes on the page were:
US State Capitals Quiz, NBA Basketball Teams Quiz, Planets of the Solar System Quiz, NFL Football Teams Quiz, U.S. Vice Presidents, Shakespeare's Plays Quiz, Canada Provinces and Territories Quiz, Major League Baseball Teams (MLB), Twelve Days of Christmas Quiz and Santa's Reindeer Quiz
Currently it was page 540 so there are 540 pages, but obviously this number will get higher and higher, so this will probably be wrong very soon, but you get the idea.
The date on the page was April 1, 2009, despite the fact that JetPunk as a quizzing site existed since 2008, I wonder what it looked like without the home page.
I noticed that, around the first ever page, some of the pages were starting to get 1-2 quizzes only, then even more near there were only 1 quiz on each page! But, VERY VERY VERY near the first page, there were some pages with 0 quizzes! Which is literally INSANE!
For pages where there were no quizzes, I have no idea why Quizmaster even made the page, but that aside, most of each page only had one quiz near the end and I was very suprised.
If you want you may visit the first home page with me, by clicking here
Here are my questions about this journey that anyone may answer for me in the comments, if it were to help you may go to the home page to try to investigate and answer my questions.
Why were some pages blank with no quizzes, by that I mean, why did Quizmaster create a page without a quiz?
Why does the first page have so many quizzes?
Why was the first home page created in 2009, instead of 2008 if JetPunk was a quizzing site since 2008?
Why in the most recent quiz the 1 page and the least recent quiz is 540+? The order does not see like a good order in my opinion.
Who created the first home page of JetPunk? Was it Quizmaster? Stewart? Who?!
Who's idea was it to make a home page on JetPunk?
How do JetPunk admins and Quizmaster think of quizzes to put on the home page?
Well, that was all the things I've seen and also my questions in my visit to the first home page of this site JetPunk, tell me what you thought of it, don't forget to join me on my adventure, if you want you may become my friend here, to see more of these blogs go here and don't forget to check my quizzes too, anyhow, this has been TheBerryLegend who has really enjoyed making this blog for y'all and BYE!!!
This blog was made yesterday, but submitted today, so some statistics may be slightly off.
IDK other questions because I am new
In fact, “Jet” (it was not the old name! LOL!) Had a quiz from all over the world in three minutes, but JetPunk was an online travel agency. I don't know if you know these sites, but it's like CVC, Booking, etc.
Do you know when you want to travel and research travel at a travel agency? So that was JetPunk's calling. They always say that "Jet" was created in 2008, but it was in 2008 that it became a quiz site. Understand me? I don't think so, but do what? LOL
I understand
- Only the most recent date a quiz if on the front page is shown. So if a quiz is on the front page every January 1st, it would only show on the most recent one.
"Why does the first page have so many quizzes?"
- These are all the quizzes that existed on the site before the front page existed, and haven't been featured on the front page since then.
To the pages question:
- This is just the most natural format of page numbering. The most common link is www.jetpunk.com which is defaulted to page 1, if we incremented then you would have to change which page this defaulted to.
"Who created..."
- Quizmaster did. I only started working for JetPunk in summer 2019, but have been a regular user before that since January 2016.
"How do quizzes..."
- These are decided majoritively by Quizmaster and are quizzes that he likes or thinks others will like, for the most part.
