In this blog you'll find 10 questions and riddles that are meant to stimulate your mind and get your brain juices flowing! I will put the answers in another blog in one week, but feel free to comment with the answer if you think you have it.

Once there was a rich man who lived in a mansion. On the top floor of the mansion there was three rooms. In one room the man kept gold, in another money, and another precious gems. One night, an arsonist set the mansion on fire. Which of the three rooms did the police extinguish first?

In a faraway kingdom, a criminal was sentenced to imprisonment in one of the four dungeons of torture. The dungeon-master told the criminal that if he chose the right dungeon, he would live. Otherwise, he would die. His choices were: The dungeon of fire, a  roaring furnace that burned day and night; The dungeon of tigers, where there are hoards of tigers that have not eaten for a year; the dungeon of vipers, an enormous pit full of snakes; or the dungeon of scorpions, where violent scorpions scuttled over everyone and everythung. Which dungeon should the criminal choose?

Q1: 1, it is topologically equivalent to a torus

I disagree with the first one. A straw is always cylindrical and therefore should have two "holes". A torus from what I understand is ring-like. No one would call a ring a straw or vice versa.

Going by the topological argument, a cube is equivalent to a cuboid and ultimately to a a quadrilateral, which is obviously incorrect.

And for the fifth one, all the outer planets have rings and not a single ring, but only Saturn is well-known.

I would say it is a phone like Fuse said below or a bell or a doorbell or even a clock! All of them ring and don't have a finger. (Clock has hands not fingers!) 😉

Q9: The dungeon of tigers, where there are hoards of tigers that have not eaten for a year. If the tigers had not eaten for a year, they would have died.

I enjoy these riddles, so here's some answers I thought of:

4) It was in the middle of the day, where it was daylight

7) none - firefighters do this, not police

8) pack of cards

9) Tigers, because they would be dead

Although the above suggestion by @Fuse for a telephone that has a ring, is probably better (because Saturn isn't the only planet with a ring)
