I don't have any issue with using a table format except it's more work with diminishing returns; I just don't think it's needed

Informative blog! I never realized that Statesboro Blues by the Allman Brothers was a cover of a 1928 song. My music education from my father begins in the 1930s. Many of these 1920s songs are familiar but the performers are not so. I associate Jimmy Durante with "Yes We Have No Bananas" and the Harlem Globetrotters with "Sweet Georgia Brown". Thanks for the history lesson.

Interesting fact: In 1948 "I'm Just Wild About Harry" underwent a revival when Harry S. Truman selected it as his campaign song for the presidency of the United States.
