One Year of JetPunk

Exactly 365 days ago, I gained my first take on a now deleted quiz about campuses of a local university. It was a basic text quiz with only five answers, but it began a journey to the quizmaking skills I have now learnt today. I had created my account 6 months prior, but didn't really do much with it, and forgot about it for some months. However, I soon became fairly active on the site, and while I am less so now, it has been a large part of my life over this year. This blog also roughly coincides with me reaching 3000 takes, so thanks for that too.

A big thank-you to everyone on this site, and especially the Discord server; it is probably one of the nicest communities I have come across. Sorry for any stupid comments I have left on this site. I figure it's best to keep this blog no longer than it needs to be, so goodbye, I suppose.

@NiobiumVoid, you are a great JetPunker with some amazing and creative map quizzes. You were one of the many users I looked up to when I started making quizzes some seven months ago, and I challenged myself to get higher than you in takes. But in reality, takes don't matter, experience and quality does. Nevertheless, 3k takes is quite a lot, just as is a whole year! Congratulations! And no, I have never seen a stupid comment from you.

Since when does JetPunk mean getting takes??? For a while it was a travel site and for years users could not create quizzes. Many very active users don't have a single quiz or blog on their account, but they are perfectly content with chatting with the community, taking quizzes to pass time, and helping out when they can. It disturbs me that your explanation for takes mattering is that it is JetPunk. JetPunk has never been strictly about takes, and I hope it never will. People doing JetPunk only to get takes just like its social media often end up spamming many low quality quizzes a day, don't take criticism, and make fast typing quizzes. Take the writer of this blog for example. He could have had much more takes than many others, but instead he creates quality ideas and map quizzes.
