Quizmaster Comments About Belgium

Belgium is one of the few cases of "lore" on this website. Quizmaster frequently comments on how disgusting and terrible Belgium is or mentions Belgian atrocities. These are examples with the quiz they are from and the comment.

When The Netherlands beat Belgium at its own game.

"Stupid Belgium can't even make the biggest waffle. Losers!"

Well, basically the whole thing, as Quizmaster tries to convince an AI that Belgium is the worst country in the world.

"Considering french fries, waffles, and the Congo, it would seem that Belgium has had many negative contributions to well-being."

"Chocolate and Stella Artois are also bad for one's health. Is there any country whose contributions to world health have been more disastrous than Belgium's?"

"Can you try again? Hint: The answer is 196. [For ranking of being a bad country]"

Belgium just barely makes the list, this is Quizmaster's response to someone pointing that out.

"You guys get it. Too bad the rest of the world is still blind to Belgium's crimes. When will they learn that 90% of everything that is wrong with the world is because of Belgium!"

Quizmaster: If I do ever go, it will be to document atrocities so that the world can know the truth.

Someone wasn't very happy with the blurb on the front page (it was featured that day) calling the Belgians evil, so they chewed Dekkie out:

"You shouldn't generalize like that by saying "the evil Belgians" because not all Belgians were that way. Afterall it was the Belgian government who took away Leopold's territory in the Congo because of the atrocities he was committing there."

"Belgium isn't even good at being a low country. Ha!"

"American's don't shoot endangered animals, that's more of a Belgian thing. They eat so much mayonnaise on their fries that it drives them insane. I hate Belgians so much that I like to post hateful comments on quizzes completely unprompted by anything."

This one probably explains the whole Belgium hate.

Pandora49: Quizmaster must be relieved the DRC gained independence from Belgium :)

Quizmaster: I wasn't alive at the time, but yes I am very glad that those Belgians got what they deserved.
