My opinion is that it's too risky for people to take it because there could be side effects the vaccine creators don't know about. I think that people should be able to get it if they want to, but I (Joshua) will be outraged if any demographic in any country is forced to be vaccinated or if it become necessary to do things like shop at the store or travel

If you decide not to get the vaccine, you shouldn't be able to enjoy the freedom that others do. I personally think to get it is very lucky. I have family members who have taken it.

I agree with BerryLegend. This content could be done in a simple comment. But anyway, I think it is better not to get the vaccine yet, especially if you are Brazilian.

The media influences you to take it, but let's be sensible: a vaccine for a virus that surfaced a few months ago? This was supposed to be a slow process, and to cover it up, they pretended to delay the approval process for any vaccine here.

They are hiding side effects to hide the truth. In Brazil, if you get a bad sudden, it's COVID, sniffed, it's COVID, caught chicken pox, it's COVID. Anyway, I think it is better to wait for the situation to "cool down".

The Pfizer vaccine is 95 percent effective, which isn't a bad rate. Those side-effects are only present most of the time if you are allergic. And if we wait for it to cool down, we will be at 10m deaths worldwide in no time. There is no time to wait.

I understand you, but what about that 5%? What if you or I were between that 5%? Maybe I am among the 5%. These data that I will quote, always change, but according to Worldometers, the world population is 7.841 billion people. 5% of this is equivalent to about 392,050,000. Imagine!? The world has faced worse things in the Middle Ages. I know that the technology was weak at that time, but I suspect the time of production of the vaccines. They haven't tested any animals. They are making us laboratory mice, guinea pig. I have my back, and maybe at the last minute, the worst thing will happen. When we have 100% efficiency, and proven, it will be safe. In the Interesting Facts themselves, we see a fact that says Moderna's vaccine was produced in two days. TWO DAYS! A disease that was unknown and had no vaccines? That would take about two years. Maybe these Vaccines aren't the best, but they are surely better than what's happening now. You have to develop herd immunity and the best way to that is with a vaccine. And also 95 percent effective. Meaning 7.3 billion people would be saved from COVID, assuming we vaccinate everyone, not that bad.

I don't want to create discussions with you. But that's exactly what I think the media wants you to think. If I weren't the only Brazilian here, I would suggest a YouTube channel. Despite that, I will suggest the same way, in case you speak Portuguese, or its translation caption is effective. It combines humor with politics. And I should even suggest the channel, even because I'm sick of people thinking that Bolsonaro is to blame for everything. Like, fell to the ground, it is the fault of Bolsonaro. The “Supreme Tyrant Frivolous” (STF - Federal Supreme Court) and the “mainstream media” want to deceive you. I doubts that he is the best president that Brazil has ever had, and will be for many years.

The media really is a liar, especially the Brazilian. Science was my second favorite subject, but besides being boring, it was completely contrary to what I think, besides supposing several lies. Science does not want to use religions at all, as it would be as if its reputation were tarnished. I don't want to involve religions, but whatever science says, it needs to be seen with our eyes. A vaccine produced against a virus that has gained the attention of the world out of nowhere, in a short period of production, reaching 95% efficiency, is almost impossible even with all the technology available. Can we stop? I think we aren’t going to get anywhere with this...

But having a vaccine is 10x better than the situation we have now. Without the vaccine, you see how hard cities like Manaus are getting hit right? They are having to cut up the Amazon just to build GRAVES for the people who died. If I were you, I wouldn't wait it out for another 3 years just to test the Vaccine for long term effects. Plus, like Cbear said, this uses MRNA instead of the virus itself. That reduces the chances of the dormant virus giving side effetcs.

I have absolutely no qualms about the vaccine. Many of my relatives have already taken it, and they have experienced absolutely zero side effects.

Four people i know have taken the vaccine (both doses) and they had 0 side effects whatsoever. And the reason it was made so fast was because 1. it was a pandemic and MANY people were working on it 2. it is not a regular vaccine that uses mRNA instead of injecting yourself with the virus so it was actually easier to make. The chances of long term side effects are very slim. but its your choice.

My mom is a frontline healthcare worker, so she received her second dose of the vaccine last weekend. The "side affects" that everyone keeps talking about amounted to her feeling like she had the flu for about 12 hours; and she had the worst symptoms of any of her coworkers. Get the vaccine. You can and will save lives.
