I was always told a sea cow was a manatee. Never heard of a dugong.

Dugongs and Manatees are NOT the same. The most obvious physical difference between the two is the tail. Manatee's have a flat, disk shaped tail whilst dugongs have a fluked tail that looks like a dolphin tail.

HELLO ALL. I think the reason why many you know a sea-cow to be a manatee is because that is an Atlantic/Caribbean creature, whereas the dugong is and Indo-Pacific creature. Where I live I've only known dugongs and was excited to see this in the quiz.
