If I had to guess, it's probably banking on people thinking the game is much older than it really is. I'm not sure why 1937 was chosen specifically, but it works just as well as, say, 1934.

I know these are all commonly believed to be true, but did you mean to include two ruses with the Trivial Pursuit question (edition name and release date)? I believe the former would have been enough to suffice, based on the parameters of this quiz.

Roe v Wade was overturned by the US Supreme Court meaning abortion rights were returned to the states. Abortion was not categorically banned in the US with this ruling. The media and bad actors mischaracterized this court decision for political purposes.

The abortion question is simply not in good taste. It comes across as saying, "Don't whine so much, it's not like they ACTUALLY outlawed it," when it of course has caused a huge amount of suffering with the restrictions it allows states to impose.

I agree. Most of the other questions concern popular misconceptions. This one just seems pedantic and mean-spirited.

Having said that, I don't love what I perceive to be the implications of the questions 1 and 8, as well, namely:

The Great Barrier Reef is fine (it absolutely is not, it's just not expected to disappear by 2030)

And that Russia doesn't interfere in foreign elections (they do, just didn't hack voting machines)
