Mistook the salt west of Great Salt Lake for snow and that was the end of my chances to get that one!

I thought it was snow, too, and I've been there a few times. Antelope Island is wonderful - can't believe I didn't see it. (We once sat in our car while the bison herd pounded all around us during a road crossing. Fantastic!)

Realistically it could have been snow, Utah is snowier than people give it credit for.

Yep, 672 inches of snow at Snowbird this year (so far), but the particular pattern of "snow" in that picture would be highly unlikely.

Couldn't the "Bay of Biscay" image also be the "Cantabrian Sea"?

+1 Nobody would say Galicia is on the Bay of Biscay. It is a blatant mistake.

Lake Nicaragua is also known as Lake Cocibolca (according to Google and Wikipedia). Maybe add it as an alternative answer?

I'm pretty sure I've seen lake Baikal as lake Baykal somewhere. Maybe add that as a type-in? Otherwise, great quiz series. Keep making more.

Thanks. Good quiz. Stumped by Nicaragua but got the rest. Could I suggest throwing in some from Oceania and South America for balance? Maybe the Cook Strait and Lake Titicaca for example.

When I first saw the picture for the Bay of Biscay, I thought it was the Gulf of GonĂ¢ve in Haiti.

Since you alllow "Salt" for the Great Salt Lake shouldn't you also allow "Bear" for Great Bear Lake?
