I have to agree, you're better off not knowing, but she was one of the fascinating characters on the MTV reality show "Jersey Shore". The show did not help New Jersey's exaggerated and unearned negative reputation.
Most of the cast of Jersey Shore wasn't even from New Jersey. I mean, NJ has kind of earned it's reputation, but there are other states involved in JS.
This particular mugshot was from a Denver police station where he took it for fun. He wasn't arrested and it was a publicity stunt where he got an honorary police badge for doing it. However, in 1956 Elvis was at a gas station in Gayoso near Memphis and pulled up to the station, he got mobbed by fans, started signing autographs and caused a back up at the station while refusing to move. He got out of the car when they started to argue with him and preceded to fight the Gulf gas station employees Ed Hopper and Aubrey Brown which resulted in all three getting arrested and booked for assault and disorderly conduct. While could not find a mugshot for that incident you can look up the details at https://www.elvispresleymusic.com.au/pictures.1956-october-19.html No one seems to know what happened to his mugshot all they have is pictures of him in court the next day.
I could see some people trying it if they can't remember his stage name. Charlie Sheen's brother is Emilio Estevez, so if you remembered that you might try Estevez since Jetpunk accepts last names.
I think Snooki, the Beef, and maybe bongo boy are all new on this quiz. Who got kicked off? Did you delete McVeigh and the Unabomber because people were complaining about them not being celebrities?
I once worked on the french version of Jersey Shore.. that's when I painfully learnt about Snooky. I had to add the subtitles and edit out the worst lines for the daytime broadcast. I just wanted to erase everything. And I was usually working on shows like MythBusters, so that felt like some kind of punishment..
There is a mug shot of Elvis from the 50's when he was arrested. The one you have showing is from the 70's and is not a mug shot. Believe me....I know. (Elvis fan)
I lived in Memphis for nearly 30 years and was there when the 70's/80's mugshot was circulating. Even met him several time and he dated my next door neighbor for about six months. Since you are an Elvis fan, you probably know that he had a very close personal relationship with many law enforcement officers in North Mississippi and West Tennessee. The unconfirmed, but likely fact that he was arrested is probably true and his good ole boys made it go away. The reason for his arrest went through the rumor mill so many times that the truth it is probably lost to history. It included everything from reckless driving/DUI (hard to believe I know) to urinating off of the side of the Mississippi River Bridge.
I actually only missed three :o thought I would miss like 80% popculture is hardly my thing. I usually mainly remember things you could have asked a 100 years ago and you can ask100 years from now. So no music movies politics and sports. 2 I really didnt recognise, but I did know the names (tupac and laboeuf). I guess you pick up "knowledge" you arent even interested in
