My late aunt always loved Weekend at Bernie's. She had horrible taste. I thought of The Little Mermaid about one second before time ran out, couldn't type it fast enough...

I remember seeing the top 4 all in movie theaters. I think. Maybe not Die Hard, I would have only been 9 years old. I definitely saw Die Hard 2 in the theater. GhostBusters and Gremlins I can't remember if I saw at the theater or not. Again, though... I remember seeing Ghostbusters 2 and Gremlins 2 at the movie theater pretty clearly. I guess I'm only kind of old.

For the Lethal Weapon one I just kept typing in buddy cop movies until I got it. Turner and Hooch? No. Forty-eight Hours? Nope.

the clue for die hard really confused me for a while as its spelt STORIES in the clue meaning like a tale or bedtime story or something

when it should be spelt STOREYS to indicate as in floors of a building..... so confusing

American English uses story/stories for the levels of a building, even if the rest of the English speaking world uses the spelling you indicated.

btw the Top Gun tag line is really dumb. I know it's a line from the movie, but what does it actually have to do with anything? It was just one throwaway line. Irrelevant to the plot.

I kept typing Top Gear and couldn't understand why it wasn't taking the epic story of Goose and Maverick. After about 30 seconds I realized I was typing in the epic story of Hamster and Captain Slow.

What I find fascinating is that I missed The Little Mermaid the first time I took this quiz, but now every time I take it again I get it right away. Though it is also a weird tagline and I can see why so many other people missed it.

My favourite line from Highlander: "Ladies and gentlemen, I have something to say! It's better to burn out, than to fade away!"

And The Blues Brothers: "Why we have both types of music here: Country and Western!"

Was a teen in the 1980s but I missed 3 . Never heard of weird science or wargames and couldn't remember highlander , I'm kind of glad about that it was an awful overrated movie .I liked weekend at Bernie's as a teen watching it again recently and I didn't realize it was so dumb but enjoyable in a way.
