hardly anyone guessed kermit, though almost everyone knows him. The songtitle didnt mean anything to me either.
Maybe "it's not easy being green" ? still rather obscure and not a direct description, but I think more people might know that one
And personally I only know klondike as a game (havent heard of the ones in the clue) but that one got a reasonable amount of correct guesses. But when I google it the first 5 pages (then I stopped checking) are all about the game, only 1 tiny mention about the yukon area refering to a wiki article.
I never played the game. I actually learned about the character from the Netflix docu-series "The Games That Made Us". Apparently, Kirby is named after the lawyer John Kirby who successfully defended Nintendo against the alleged unlicensed use of King Kong in their game Donkey Kong.
Nope. Not at all. As the clue makes clear, it is a separate holiday created for non-Christian communities in Africa so they can still have a holiday while we celebrate Christmas.
(And there is absolutely nothing wrong in being “PC” or “woke”; it proves you actually care about other human beings on the planet! 🙄)
The problem with being PC or woke is the virtue signalling aspect where many will promote an agenda believing it will demonstrate their empathy, rather than forming an opinion based on a deep understanding of an issue. The assumption that the left/"progressives" have a monopoly on empathy is wrong
Seems to me that reactionary trolls like nojik are performing a type of "virtue signaling" as well; it's just that the "virtues" they showcase are all about trashing the values of others while praising ignorance and intolerance. With that sort of behavior on display, it's understandable to question the empathy of such people.
Kwanzaa is an African American holiday which can be celebrated in addition to Christmas, although it was created as an alternative.
It's based on several African harvest festivals and there are seven principals: Unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith. These come from ideals of the pan-African and Black Power movements.
It's not as popular now as it used to be, but there is no reason to belittle or scorn it.
Bet that would curdle.

And the last human that could face an AI and not being totally trashed.
