Black Sabbath

Blind Melon

Blink 182

Bush

Bob Seeger

Bryan Adams

And if you're really adventurous:

Black Label Society

Buffalo Springfield

Bullet for my Valentine

Byrds

I believe that the Years Active (1957-1958) for Buddy Holly are a bit off. His first recordings are from 1956. And he was still active when The Day the Music Died in February 1959.

For Richie Valens, who died in the same planecrash, is 1959 as last year active marked in "musical-acts-by-letter-r"-quiz. I think same should be for Buddy Holly.

I have tried really hard to like Billy Eilish. I keep an open mind. I still enjoy new music. But I just do not understand the appeal of her and her 1/4 octave vocal range. It's really tough to listen to. Artistic expression is one thing, but the underlying medium still needs to have value. It doesn't matter how artsy you are if you're a musician and your songs are bad.

I don't like all of her songs, but some of them are pretty great imo. Bury a Friend is the one that really won me over. In any case, I don't understand your objection to her voice. I'm no music expert, but according to this seemingly well-informed answer on Quora, "as recorded overall her full known range is D3 to G#5, exactly two-and-a-half octaves." But hey, musical tastes vary and that's okay.

@jmellor13, I have to agree with you. Most of her music seems to be very "gimmicky" and tailored for shock value. I don't care for her music either, although she has found a formula that has made her famous.
