What about Chile through Easter Island, the US through American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, or any of the Minor Outlying Islands other than Navassa, or Australia through Norfolk Island (which just barely works, I got as low as 4103 miles on google maps)?
That one was Dan's call. Pitcairn Islands are a British Overseas Territory (BOT) and he counts that as a part of the UK. BOTs are not actually a part of the UK, despite coming under its jurisdiction.
I've been doing these types of quizzes back to back and never even considered the fact that Hawaii is not a country... Kept trying USA with no luck, but eventually got them all.
Mexico is tough! All the others are pretty doable if you know your Polynesia (even if, like me, you can't ID the islands by location). Also surprised on the Indonesia omission.
the fact i forgot hawaii was part of the us for a second omg
