Is there a link to that page somewhere in one of the menus? I can't find one - keep coming to the this quiz to follow the link and I'm worried the post is going to get deleted at some point...
At the time of her death, Diana was not HRH, she was simply known as Diana, Princess of Wales (and just to add to confusion, she was never Princess Diana). And while I know that this may 'upset' some people, Camilla is now the Princess of Wales - it was just decided that she would use the title Duchess of Cornwall officially. When she married Charles, she automatically, and by law, became Princess of Wales, the same way that she will one day legally and officially be Queen Camilla.
At the time of the marriage between Charles and Camilla, many debated what Camilla's title would be... the public sentiment was that Camilla could NOT be HRH Princess of Wales, so she was given the title Duchess of Cornwall. She's not "Princess of Wales" and never will be, just like she won't be "Camilla, Queen of England" it'll be "Camilla, Queen Consort" at best if she doesn't continue using "Duchess of Cornwall"
William and Kate will become Prince and Princess of Wales and if they're still married by the time William ascends the throne they'll be King and Queen of England and George will become Prince of Wales.
Camilla wishes to be known as HRH Duchess of Cornwall, her own decision. She IS HRH Princess of Wales but doesn't want to use that tiitle, instead using a secondary title of her husband's.
In Scotland she uses the title HRH Duchess of Rothesay, as her husband is known as Duke of Rothesay (not Prince of Wales) in that country.
Also - she's without the shadow of a doubt an HRH, and the quiz should be changed to reflect this.
camilla CANNOT become queen as she is not of royal blood.. sorry there will only be a king and consort... just wish charles would defer the throne.... he is a disgrace to the royal family
A disgrace to a family that's been having children between brothers and sisters and cousins for 900 years? They should bring it to its logical conclusion and just F themselves.
All was cool when Charles was vacationing with his great Uncle Mountbatten and his granddaughter with the idea the cousins would wed. His murder shortly after scared her from becoming a closer part of the family.
She was definitely of royal blood, having the same great grandparents and all. No disgrace there though, everyone was on board for married cousins.
Exactly, the Queen Mother was a commoner. There are 2 types of Queen, a Queen Regnant like the current Queen who reigns in her own right and Queen Consort meaning the wife of a King. There is however only one kind of King. The husband of a reigning Queen is a Prince.
Question from here in the States to those of you across the pond in the UK: What is the current public attitude toward Camilla? Is she loved, liked, hated, or simply tolerated? Just wondering, with Diana's popularity, if Camilla's image has improved after her marriage to Charles and with the passage of time. Also, what is public feeling toward Charles? Thanks in advance for any responses.
There are a few die hard Diana fans who will never accept Camilla but mostly people have got used to her and think she's been given an unnecessarily hard time. She's done a good job, and with dignity. I don't think there will be much fuss about her becoming Queen.
Just waiting for the anti Camilla reactionaries.......
Honestly, I'm surprised it's that high, given that this site is based in the US. Most people don't know anyone beyond the queen, Charles & Diana (and maybe Camilla, from the tabloids), Will & Kate (and maybe their kids), and Harry. Sorry, but it just isn't that important to us.
As a Brit, not good to only get 22. In my defence, I am not a huge fan of the royal family, although they seem to be more personable and relevant as generations progress. And I can't believe I misspelled Tim Laurence as Lawrence. Both popular spellings, but when one didn't work, should have tried the other!
Princess Eugenie is now married, meaning that another update (in addition to Lena Tindall - daughter of Zara) is needed. That`s the `problem` with families. They just keep growing.
This quiz is horribly out of date! Harry and Meghan are no longer HRH and have another child named Lilibet. Zara had another child named Lucas. Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank and they have a child named August. Beatrice married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and they have a child named Sienna.
I feel like the royal family will becomes less and less relevant to pop culture, and that society as a whole will begin to stop caring about the royal family. People scream about equality and how horrible privilege is, but yet continue to celebrate the royal family and make a spectacle out of everything they do.
Thanks
William and Kate will become Prince and Princess of Wales and if they're still married by the time William ascends the throne they'll be King and Queen of England and George will become Prince of Wales.
Ah, royals, titles, and hereditary.
In Scotland she uses the title HRH Duchess of Rothesay, as her husband is known as Duke of Rothesay (not Prince of Wales) in that country.

As of June 2018, Zara Tindall has two daughters, her second child is named Lena Tindall. Thanks for a great quiz!
