The Spice Girls song will be stuck in my head all day, but I couldn't remember the title to save myself. Also tried every iteration of Kissed by a Rose, etc., except the correct one.

Unfortunately for us in the UK, The Spice Girls had many more number ones. Far too many more. *sighs*

I tried every version of Sk8er Boi I could think of, only to find out, guess what? THE PRICE IS WRONG, BOB!

I was trying Complicated and Sk8er Boi. I'm surprised it wasn't one of those. Girlfriend is such a fluffy, generic song.

I'm shocked that out of all the Aerosmith songs that was the one that went number 1

Yes, Dream On and Walk This Way are definitely #1 worthy, and in the all-inclusive pop charts of the 70s both should have went to #1.

I could have sworn I entered Coolio's correctly. Tried it a couple of times. No luck. Well at least I new that one. Missed Sinead O'Connor, Bonnie Tyler and Coldplay. Shocked to see some of these only had one #1 like Guns N' Rose, The Police, and Aerosmith.

Couldn't believe Rosanna didn't make it to #1, but after looking it up I saw that it stayed at #2 for several weeks behind Eye of the Tiger.

Missed some because of the damn prepositions/articles. Kiss for a rose? And Eye of a Tiger? Yeah I knew what song was meant. Duh.

A lot of those seem to be connected to movies (Survivor, Aerosmith, Coolio...) or commercials (the Coldplay song was in an Apple commercial for a long time (at least in Europe)).

I'd say the coldplay song is a bad example, the song was popular without the commercial

Can’t believe some of these artists have only had one no1 in the US. Coldplay, ABBA, Spice Girls, The Police, all had loads of chart toppers in the uk.
