They will always look 'like' birches. But that doesn't make it so. Look up aspens and see if you can definitively say that they are not what Quizmaster says and that they must therefore be what you think.
Daffodil is also known as narcissus which is also the word that most languages (Spanish, French, Russian, Portugese, Swedish, German, Arabic, Italian...) use. Should be accepted.
I went through Qing, Qing Empire, Qing Dynasty, Manchu Empire, Chinese Empire not understanding why none of it was accepted until realising the "former" related to the flag not the country.
I feel like Qing should be accepted, as the flag and name are closely associated. Clearly, anyone who knows this is the Qing flag will not be ignorant that it is the former flag of China.
I don't think "award" is a good definition for the yellow jersey. It isn't an award by itself, it's a distinction of the current leader of the classification at the tour of France. But only the one who wears it at the end of the race is awarded the final prize.
Something like "distinction" or "sport honor" may be better.
I also put star thinking that "fruit" was a given (maybe like in kiwi fruit). And apparently asp is not the word for the tree. Was already proud that I got that (well I didn't get it, but I mean came up with that) since it is totally different in my language ratelpopulier which is basically the English scientific mame populus tremula apparently )
What the heck fruit looks like a star? Took some stabs naming some obscure fruits that I couldn't remember the shape of and missed on all of them. So of course I look at the end of the quiz to see what it was. D'oh!

close but not quite right
And I also thought they were birches.
