Formal Names of Current Countries

Many countries have a formal name, from which the name by which they are commonly known derives. Some examples of formal names - REPUBLIC of Kenya, KINGDOM of Spain, STATE of Kuwait, ISLAMIC REPUBLIC of Iran. You provide the country's common name based on its formal title.
In all cases, the formal title is unique to a single country.
In 5 cases (marked by asterisks) the formal name uses a demonym. You can provide either that or the common name.
In 1 case the formal name omits a direction indicator commonly applied. You should provide the FULL common name.
