Band Members by Instrument - Early Rock and Roll Edition

If a band is listed, name the members of each band listed by their instrument or role. If an individual artist is listed, name the musicians who played with that artist on the albums or during the years indicated. Even if the artist listed is an individual, you will have to type that individual's name as an answer. (Note that some of the musicians listed were session musicians for the record company to which the artist was signed.)
Artists are considered "early rock" if they became famous prior to the British Invasion.
Lineup is as it existed in the years, on the albums, or at the events listed.
The instruments and roles listed are each member's primary ones, not necessarily their only ones.

I knew Willie Dixon as a songwriter who was covered by Zeppelin, Cream, Doors, etc. I didn't realize that he played for Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for taking the quiz. In addition to being one of the greatest blues composers of all time, he played double bass on many of the recordings released by Chess Records in the 50s and 60s.
