Fun quiz! I might replace the fez question as I would probably most associate that with either Turkey or Morocco personally.

Out of all of North America, the best you can come up with is McDonalds and Jim Carrey 😉😁

I once asked several different French high school classes to name things they associated with the USA, and McDonalds was almost always one of the first

They absolutely love McDonalds in France (and most other countries too). In my travels, I have yet to encounter a McDonalds in another country that wasn't jammed packed with people.

^I went to one in Moscow that was as good as empty, except for the (quite large) sparrows outside

^McDonalds has had limited success here in Greece, at some point even significantly downsizing their operation. One reason was competition from a similar Greek chain (which is not doing very well now either) and another is the existence of cheaper and, by common consensus, tastier local alternatives (gyros etc.).

When NZ left Alert Level 4, the stay-at-home lockdown level, after 33 days, the one cafe chain where people queued for hours awaiting re-opening was McDonalds. Many of us stared at each other in disbelief.

Why not replace the one that's just a picture of the country? It just feels out of place compared to the rest.

Yes! There are plenty of flag and country shape quizzes without it being a part of a clue quiz.

The Shiba Inu is a quintessentially Japanese dog. And it makes you think for a moment. Mount Fuji or Hello Kitty would have been no challenge. Plus, the Shiba Inu is such a smiley dog! :-)

when i went to zimbabwe last year, they sold their old currency as souvenirs. the more zeroes the bill had, the more expensive it was. took some haggling for the guy to give me a 100 trillion bill for $5.

You got a good deal. Seems like they generally go for quite a bit more, although it depends heavily on condition:

He just gave three suggestions... Bieber and Carrey are on the same problem there, their careers are enssentialy american, so they're not really representative of Canada.

I liked that quiz but you should really change that Jim Carrey picture for something else more representing. Most of his career is in US and he even the the citizenship. Most Canadians don't know that he was born here. He's more an American thing than a Canadian thing nowadays.
