U.S. Cities that used to have 100,000 people

Name all of the U.S. cities that at one point had over 100,000 residents but presently do not.
I can't say for sure, but it looks like Citrus Heights' population loss had to do with it's incorporation as a city. Also, no one would ever get it, so it's not included here.

So much sadness in these declines.

if we went by the 202 census estimates, then Albany, New York would (surprisingly) be back over 100,000 and Roanoke, Virginia and Norwalk, California would be under 100,000

If you are going to remove Citrus Heights, then you should also remove St. Joseph. It is believed that the city artificially inflated their total population to be over 100,000 for the 1900 Census, but were likely only around 75,000 at the time.

im pretty sure that at least 50% of quiz takers cheated on this quiz. it was weeks ago since i last saw the table of formerly-over-100K cities on wikipedia and i got 9/25 just from memory. im sure not even 30% of users that took this quiz have even ever heard of st joseph or livonia or parma. why do people even cheat on nonfeatured quizzes
