SirPhilippines' Hard Geography Quiz!

Depending on how "big brain" you are, this can be easy. Note this is my standard for hard, as this is the hardest geography stuff I know, and if you say it is easy, cool, but I'm not updating it to be to your standard.
I'd like to say NO CHEATING OR GUESSING!! You can do it, but please, try not to.

This is unpossible :-)

Interesting to hear about Equatorial Guinea's proposed capital.

The first question about the empire can't be right though, can it. What war are you referring to?

Hi! Thanks for playing. I found this on a video which briefly stated this fact. I have now looked it through and I will be deleting is for 2 reasons.

1. Although named the Roman Republic, this 1800s country was not as similar to the 300s Roman Republic as I thought it would be. This country was founded after Napoleons conquest of Italy, making it a sister state. I think this would make this more French than Italian, as it was most likely run by France.

2. I just couldn’t find a war. Closest thing I could find was probably Napoleonic supporters of the conquest who fought against the Papal States.

Could you change the type-in for the empire question to just need the name of the empire and not also the word 'empire?'

Sorry, but no. Joseon represents the Empire of Joseon, an entity that lasted for centuries. Korea, either means the Korean Peninsula, "Sea of Korea" (Highly contested for sea of Japan) or North and South Korea. In fact, the name "Korea" only came until 1614.

That would be like refusing to accept China for the Han Dynasty.

From Wikipedia: Joseon (Korean: 조선; Hanja: 朝鮮; MR: Chosŏn; [tɕo.sʌn]; Middle Korean: 됴ᇢ〯션〮 Dyǒw syéon or 됴ᇢ〯션〯 Dyǒw syěon), officially the Great Joseon (Korean: 대조선국; Hanja: 大朝鮮國; [tɛ.tɕo.sʌn.ɡuk̚]),[13] was the last dynastic kingdom of Korea, lasting just over 500 years.

No, not really. It is way more complicated, but there are multiple videos addressing Nauru's obesity rate.

I don't think Chosŏn/Joseon is really fair since they're the same word spelled differently...I guessed both the Koreas and a bunch of historical Korean kingdoms like Sulla, Goryeo, didn't occur to me you just wanted a different transcription of the same word.

Would've loved a little spelling lenience on Bashkortostan (I tried Bashkortistan), or alternatively accept Bashkiria, which I also guessed , but I guess those aren't technically official.

Otherwise good quiz!

So... what happened is the flag was edited in Wikipedia, stating; the purple was actually a faded red.
